We conduct the following assessments:
The Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP): A criterion-referenced assessment tool, curriculum guide, and skill tracking system that is designed for children with autism, and other individuals who demonstrate language delays. The VB-MAPP is based on B.F. Skinner’s (1957) analysis of verbal behavior, established developmental milestones, and research from the field of behavior analysis.
The Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, Third Edition: The Vineland-III assesses adaptive behavior in four domains: Communication, Daily Living Skills, Socialization, and Motor Skills. It also provides a composite score that summarizes the individual’s performance across all four domains.
The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS-R): An assessment tool, curriculum guide, and skills tracking system used to help guide instruction of language and critical learner skills for children with Autism and/or other intellectual and developmental disabilities. This practical and parent Friendly tool can be used to facilitate the identification of skills needed by your child to effectively communicate and learn from everyday experiences.
The Woodcock Johnson IV (WJIV) Tests of Achievement: The WJIV includes 20 tests for measuring four broad academic domains: reading, written language, mathematics, and academic knowledge.
The Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement (KTEA): An educational tool for children, measuring such areas as math, reading, written language, and oral language. KTEA covers all achievement standards for IDEA, Reading First, and NCTM. The Second Edition is the current version of the test.
The BRIGANCE Inventory of Early Development (IED)– Early Childhood Edition: The IED III is composed of more than 100 assessments and covers a broad range of readiness skills to help educators identify each child’s specific strengths and needs. Key early learning domains include Physical Development, Language Development, Literacy, Mathematics and Science, Daily Living, and Social-Emotional Development. The IED III can be used to provide ongoing assessment of school readiness skills, plan individualized instruction based on assessment results, and monitor child progress.
